I'll stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
